The underlayer of Glow in the Dark material needs to be charged before you will see the glow. Sunlight and UV Black-light work the best - other strong light will also work but it will take a little longer.
Best viewed in very dark conditions, the Glow appears bright - ideal for marking personnel or highlighting uniform, pockets etc.
These Union Jacks are Velcro backed (hook side) for simple attachment to your kit or clothing.
